AppKeeper Terms of Service
Effective date: 22 October 2026
These terms apply when you use AppKeeper - Backup & Restore ("AppKeeper", package com.app.keeper.backup.restore), an Android app published by Realmbit, LLC ("we", "us"). By installing or using AppKeeper you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use AppKeeper.
These terms apply to the AppKeeper Android app from version 1.2.0. How AppKeeper handles your information is described in the privacy policy.
Using AppKeeper
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use AppKeeper on Android devices you own or control, for your own use. You also need to follow the Google Play terms that apply to apps you get from Google Play.
You may not:
- Use AppKeeper to copy, share or distribute apps that you do not have the right to share
- Use AppKeeper to get around licence checks, purchases or other protections in other apps
- Copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell AppKeeper, except where the law allows it
- Use AppKeeper in a way that breaks the law
Your backups
AppKeeper saves the apps installed on your device as APK files in a folder you choose. The apps you back up belong to their developers. Their own terms still apply when you back them up or reinstall them. You are responsible for having the right to keep and reinstall them.
AppKeeper backs up the app itself (the APK), not its data, such as logins, settings or game progress. Some apps check their licence or download extra content at first start, so restoring the APK alone may not be enough for them. AppKeeper checks backups before restoring, but we cannot promise that every backup is complete or that every app will work after it is restored. Keep other copies of anything that is important to you.
Your backups are stored on your device, and in your own Google Drive if you turn on Google Drive copy. We do not have access to them and cannot recover them if they are deleted or lost.
Premium
Premium is a one-time in-app purchase made through Google Play. It is not a subscription. Payment, refunds and restoring purchases on a new device are handled by Google Play under its own terms and refund policies. Your purchase is linked to the Google account you used to buy it.
We may change, add or remove features of AppKeeper, including Premium features, for example to keep it working on new versions of Android or with Google Play policies.
Google services
Google Drive copy uses your own Google account. Your use of Google Drive is governed by Google's terms, and the backups you copy there count toward your Google storage. AppKeeper is not affiliated with Google.
Disclaimer
AppKeeper is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent allowed by law, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that AppKeeper will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will work with every app or device.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Realmbit, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, apps or profits, arising from your use of AppKeeper. Our total liability for any claim relating to AppKeeper is limited to the amount you paid for Premium, or US$10 if you did not buy Premium.
Some places do not allow these exclusions or limits. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Ending these terms
You can stop using AppKeeper at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering AppKeeper, or stop providing it to you if you break these terms. The sections on your backups, the disclaimer and limitation of liability continue to apply after these terms end.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update them here with a new effective date. For significant changes we will also tell you in the app or in the release notes. If you keep using AppKeeper after a change, you accept the new terms.
